Unfortunately, despite their efforts, the woman and one of the girls later succumbed to their injuries at the hospital, as confirmed by West Yorkshire Police. Authorities are treating the fire as "suspicious," although they currently do not suspect any other individuals to be involved in the incident.

Detective Chief Inspector James Entwistle expressed condolences to those impacted by this heartbreaking event, noting that specially trained officers are available to support the grieving family. While the investigation is ongoing, he encouraged anyone who may have witnessed anything unusual in the vicinity early that morning to come forward with information.
